Google Turkey recently announced its list of top search requests in different categories. According to the study conducted by an Anadolu Agency (AA) reporter, "survivor," "e okul veli," (e-school parent) "tv8," "acunn," "hava durumu" (weather condition), "milli piyango" (national lottery) and "dollar" were the most-googled words on Google's search engine by Turkish users in the first five months of year. In the health category, "Bursa" which topped the list was followed by "SGK" (Social Security Institution in Turkey) and "randevu" (appointment). "Turkish Airlines," "Istanbul" and "uçak bileti" (flight ticket) were the top-searched terms in the travel category. Moreover, "ütopya" (utopia), Turkish TV series "Aşk Sana Benzer" (Love Resembles to You) and "Barcelona" were the trending terms on Google in the first five months of 2015.

During the election period, "seçim 2015" (2015 elections), "MHP" (Nationalist Movement Party), "CHP" (Republican People's Party) and "AK Parti" (Justice and Development Party) topped the trending terms in the news category. The terms "Galatasaray," "lig" (league) and "ligtv" were googled the most in the sports category, while the trendiest ones were "Liverpool," "lig puan durumu" (league scores), "super lig puan" (super league score) and "puan" (score), with Turkish users googling the terms "Google," "Twitter," "Hotmail" and "Vodafone" most in the Internet category.
