Stress is an inherent part of working life, but workplace pressure can make it more stressful. CareerCast's 2016 ranking of most stressful jobs has enlisted military with an annual median salary of almost $28,000 on the top. The study shows that 30 percent of military staff at warfront have been diagnosed with mental diseases. Firefighters come second on the list with an annual salary of approximately $46,000. It is reported that 80 firefighters have lost their lives in the U.S. last year. When it comes to airline pilots, they have the third most stressful job, according to the study.According to CareerCast, a pilot earns nearly $104,000 in a year. Police officers and event coordinators rank fourth and fifth, respectively. While a police officer earns about $59,000 in a year, an event coordinator gets almost $47,000. The top most stressful job list also includes PR executives, senior corporate executives and TV and radio broadcasters as well as newspaper reporters and taxi drivers. CareerCast has also revealed the least stressful jobs including information security analysists, diagnostic medical sonographers and university professors in the top three. Other least stressful jobs have been listed as hair stylist, medical records technician, medical laboratory technician, jeweler, audiologist and dietician. With an annual salary of $56,170, librarians come last on the list.
