Istanbul festival to bring thousands of young people together


Around 300,000 young people will come together in Yenikapı Square between May 4 and May 7 as part of the Istanbul Youth Festival this year. The festival, which is being held for the second time, will host dozens of events in the fields of sport, art, culture and technology as well as important exhibitions, traditional handicraft workshops, theater performances and designs in different fields.One of the greatest Turkish bands of all time MFÖ that has left its mark on the history of Turkish music will also perform at the festival. Other artists and bands will perform at the four-day festival, including Eypio, whose songs have become very popular in recent years. The Istanbul Youth Festival will also host important exhibitions including "Once Upon a Time in Istanbul" by Ara Güler, one of the most important photographers in Turkey. Classic Turkish art exhibitions will also be on display during the festival. Other events will include the Short Film Contest, the Photography Contest and the Social Media and Photography Workshop.The Istanbul Youth Festival will have 300 participants who are active in a wide range of fields including non-governmental organizations (NGOs), publishing houses, magazines, universities, educational institutions, student platforms, sport institutions and traditional arts and handicrafts, offering informative and entertaining events for nearly 300,000 young people expected to attend the event in Istanbul.
