Renowned Italian cosmetics brand Tiziana Terenzi is set to develop a new line of cosmetic products with ingredients produced exclusive in the Muğla province of Turkey.

Paolo Terenzi, the chairman and the perfume expert of Tiziana Terenzi, is known for creating perfume from the sweet gum tree which is indigenous to the Marmaris district of Muğla province. Speaking to the press, Italian Terenzi said he received a warm welcome in Marmaris and he has a lot of plans for the touristic district. He stressed the importance of the protection of the sweetgum tree in Marmaris and noted: "I will tell the world how Turks are protecting the sweetgum trees in Marmaris. Our policy as a company is based on the protection of nature so that we can benefit from it."

Terenzi also said he was captivated by the smell of the sweetgum tree when he first smelled it and said: "I want to develop a product that mirrors my experience in Marmaris. I will be the ambassador of this beautiful tree and promote it around the world."
