Atari to make comeback in 21st century

Atari has confirmed last Friday that the company will introduce a new game console soon and the children of the 80s and 90s are going nuts already. Following the Tweet posted on the Atari's official page on June 14, Frederic Chesnais, the CEO of Atari who saved the company from bankruptcy in 2014, announced that the company began to work on a game console as of 2017. It is rumored that the new console will be named "Ataribox." Atari launched its last game console "Atari Jaguar" in 1993. This console was revolutionary compared to its rivals back in the day; however, the flaws in its hardware made the console hard to update and it died out over the years despite having developed a total of 67 exclusive games.

In the world of PS4s and X-Boxes, gamers are pretty excited to go retro with Atari's new toy.
