July 15 martyrs to be remembered from Munich to Ankara

Abdurrahman Serdar Çakmak, Hasan Acar and Tuna Güngör, who live in Munich, Germany, set off for a journey on their bicycles on Monday from Munich to Ankara in memory of the people who lost their lives during the failed coup attempted on July 15, 2016 orchestrated by the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ).

Speaking to the press, Çakmak said he pedaled from Munich to Ankara all by himself in memory of the July 15 martyrs but this year he will be joined by his two friends. "With our journey, we want to show people that the Turkish people are united and FETÖ will not be able to break this unity," he added.

The cyclists are scheduled to arrive at Ankara in less than 20 days. Their journey will end at the Presidential Complex in Ankara and Çakmak and his friends will deliver the Turkish flag that they will carry throughout the journey to the personnel at the presidency.
