Adopt a panda for your valentine on Valentine's Day


It is hard to find an original gift on special days, but the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has come to the rescue of lovers as now people can symbolically adopt endangered species on Valentine's Day as a gift.

According to the statement released by the fund, people can gift a world where humanity and nature are in harmony with their loved ones, supporting to the efforts of the WWF-Turkey to protect nature, with this symbolic adoption.

The campaign comprises of endangered animals such as sea turtles, pandas, dolphins, whooper swans, pole bears, tigers, groupers, jungle cats and orangutans, which are under the threat of extinction and can be saved with the support of people.

In the announcement, which noted more than 30,000 supporters who have joined the campaign contributed to protection efforts of the WWF-Turkey, symbolically adopting the animal that they chose, it was reported, "You can design your e-certificate with a donation of TL 40 ($12.94) and send an email. We sent a certificate prepared in your name with a donation of TL 75 to your address. If you donate TL 120, we also add some special gifts to the species that you have chosen for this special certificate."
