Daily Sabah's Editorial Coordinator Meryem İlayda Atlas tied the knot on Sunday with groom Oğuz Çetin in a glamorous ceremony in Istanbul's historical Emirgan Park.

The wedding ceremony, which took place in the White Pavilion inside the park, was attended by the bride's friends, Labor, Social Services and Family Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's daughters Sümeyye Erdoğan Bayraktar and Esra Albayrak.

A congratulatory message from the president was also read in the ceremony.



The couple's witnesses were Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Editor-in-Chief of Daily Sabah Serdar Karagöz, Sümeyye Erdoğan Bayraktar and Fatmanur Altun, head of Turkish Youth and Education Service Foundation (TÜRGEV).
