Owners of iconic classic car Murat 124 convene for parade

Enthusiasts of Turkey's beloved Murat 124 classic car, widely known as the Hacı Murat, which is the Turkish adaptation of the Fiat 124 series, are coming together on Oct. 14 to say farewell to summer.

More than 300 classic car enthusiasts from Antalya, Kayseri, Sakarya, Trabzon, Aydın and other cities around Turkey will be in Istanbul to support Turkey's ambitious project to build the country's first domestic car production.

Owners will meet for the last time this year before they lock up their cars will be pull to the garages to prevent any harm that the winter conditions might pose. Apart from the parade, live concerts and various activities for the participants will take place at Maltepe Square.
