Swedish journalist reportedly missing in Syria
A Swedish freelance journalist is reportedly missing in an ISIS-controlled area in Syria, after failing to return home at the beginning of this week.Swedish daily Expressen reported Friday that the unidentified journalist is in his 30s and has been out of touch for four days. The journalist, known for covering conflicts in Syria, was planning to enter an ISIS-controlled area via the Turkish province of Gaziantep, according to Expressen.Meanwhile, a pro-YPG (Kurdish People's Protection Units) Twitter account claimed that the journalist is safe in an area without internet and phone coverage.
