YPG kidnaps 150 civilians with alleged affiliation to ISIS in northern Syrian town of Sarrin: local sources


Local sources speaking to Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency stated that 150 civilians were kidnapped by YPG, an armed branch of Kurdish PYD that controls northern Syria, in northern town of Sarrin.Civilians ranging from 15 to 65 were brought to Kobani, located some 30 kilometers north of Sarrin, a local activist said. 150 people were alleged of being members of ISIS, and they were battered and insulted as they were taken away, and their houses were pillaged and burned, the activist added.As the international community is impartial to YPG's violations, more than 6,000 civilians suffer tough living conditions in the region, the activist said.YPG was previously accused of forcefully migrating Turkmens living in the northern Syrian town of Hammam located near Tal Abyad. The area was previously controlled by ISIS.
