At least 37 dead after a string of Daesh terrorist attacks in Iraq


At least 37 people were killed Saturday in Iraq in a string of terrorist attacks on security forces by Daesh.Ismail al-Mihlavi, Anbar operations commander of the Iraqi army, told Anadolu Agency that Daesh launched an offensive on three army headquarters in Ramadi city with bomb-laden vehicles.Al-Mihlavi said the militant group later started gunfire. 23 soldiers were killed during the attacks, while security forces killed 33 Daesh militants with air support by U.S.-led coalition forces.In a separate attack in Fallujah city of Anbar province, 14 people were killed by a Daesh suicide bomber launching an attack with bomb-laden car on a headquarters of the Iraqi army and al-Hashd al-Shaabi, an umbrella organization of Shia militia.
