3 suicide attacks reported in Lebanon village near Syria


A new wave of suicide bombings struck a Lebanese village near the border with war-ravaged Syria Monday hours after pre-dawn attacks killed at least five people, a security source said.

In the latest violence, three suicide bombers riding motorcycles blew themselves up in the centre of the predominantly Christian village of Al-Qaa in eastern Lebanon, the source told AFP.Medical sources told Reuters that at least 15 people had been wounded in the attack in the Christian village of Qaa, on Lebanon's border with Syria.

One struck in front of a church and the two others in front of the municipality building.
