Jordanian pilot mocks Trump over Jerusalem move


A Jordanian pilot trolled U.S. President Donald Trump's controversial move to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital, a video circulating on social media showed late Wednesday.

In the video, Yusuf Al-Hamlan is heard saying in Arabic "Today's route will begin from Queen Alia International Airport and pass over the Palestinian lands. To our left is the blessed Quds [Jerusalem], the capital of Palestine, and the western Palestinian coastlines, the Mediterranean Sea."

U.S. President Donald Trump last week announced that he recognizes Jerusalem as Israel's capital instead of Tel Aviv, and that the U.S. Embassy will be relocated to Jerusalem. The announcement was quickly met with international opposition and condemnation.

In retaliation to the move and to discuss its implications while showing a united stance, Turkey called for an emergency summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.
