Motorsport.com acquires Turkey's leading auto racing website TurkiyeF1

A Miami-based technology and digital media company, Motorsport.com, is expanding to Turkey through its acquisition on Wednesday of the country's most-visited motorsports website, TurkiyeF1.com.

That is not the only change as part of the acquisition, Motorsport.com will launch Motorsport.com TURKEY, a racing website which will cover all major racing series, including Formula 1, World Endurance Championship, MotoGP, World Rally Championship and Formula E in Turkish.

Next year will bring with it changes to the racing scene as Formula 1 will see wider tires will be subjected to heavier loading and faster cornering speeds.

Formula 1 teams are currently subject to strict limits on track testing before and during the season but the regulations now allow for 12 days of tyre testing. Pirelli also want clarification on what cars and drivers they can use.

Since 1998, TurkiyeF1.com has been the reference point for Turkish auto racing fans regarding F1 team news, races, drivers, videos and more. TurkiyeF1.com is a two-time winner of the 'Altın Örümcek Web Award' for the Turkey's best websites for sports and automobile categories (2004 & 2005).
