One of the most important vocalists of the Turkish Jazz scene, Jehan Barbur, who always brings a breath of fresh air with her unique voice, will perform live at Salon Thursday.Barbur made a name for herself with her songs "Leyla" and "Gidersen" (If You Leave) from her debut album "Uyan" (Wake Up). With her second album "Hayat" (Life) and "Sarı" (Yellow), Barbur's style, which blends jazz and pop with Middle Eastern rhythms, promises a peaceful night to music lovers. On Sept. 20, Salon will host the project band, Mashrou' Leila, a group of friends from Beirut.The band has been standing out with their innovative style they introduced to the Arab music scene and striking live performances, as well as studio albums. Mashrou' Leila, which has a large following and quickly fills any venue they play, will be coming to Salon for an energetic live performance.
