Legendary violin virtuoso to perform at Istanbul's Hagia Eirene


Viktoria Mullova will fascinate with her violin at Istanbul Night Flight World-renowned violin virtuoso Viktoria Mullova will be performing at Hagia Eirene on May 15 for Istanbul Night Flight, one of the largest musical events in Turkey. The concert series features global stars, kicking off with Mullova's performance, and will take place in Hagia Eirene, one of the first museums in the world, located in the courtyard of Topkapı Palace.Deemed the "best living violin virtuoso" by classical music authorities around the world, Mullova has performed with the most prestigious orchestras and conductors globally and has won many awards.She has made a name for herself with her rendering of Bach's compositions throughout her career, and she will perform for her fans in Istanbul on May 15 at Hagia Eirene, a building that has witnessed the rise and fall of many civilizations, located on the historical peninsula of Istanbul and currently a museum.On Sept. 15, the duo Igudesman & Joo will perform, and on Oct. 15, Andre Rieu's "Australian Angel" MIRUSIA will be singing to her Istanbul fans on her "Soprano From the Heart" tour. Salut Salon, the world-famous quartet, will be meeting with their Istanbul audience for the first time, taking the stage on Oct. 28. It is a unique ensemble as the group comprises only women. On Oct. 29, An Epic Symphony, together with the Symphony Orchestra, will make its world premiere. Imamyar Hasanov, one of the most successful heirs to Kemancha, will be the soloist on the night and Yusuf Taşkın, the voice of the soundtrack of the cult Turkish movie "Ağır Roman," will take the stage. In addition, there will be a visual show by international stars.
