Jazz in February program to host international musicians

Master figures of jazz will meet music lovers in Istanbul between Feb. 16 and 23. Organizing its events under the body of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Department of Cultural Affairs, Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall (CRR) will host jazz artists at the fifth program of February in Jazz.

The event, in which six concerts will be performed, will start with Aziza Mustafa Zadeh's performance. Besides, many musicians from Azerbaijan, Tunis, Lebanon, Palestine and Macedonia will take the stage of the hall.

As part of the event, Lebanon-origin Tarek Yamani will perform on Feb. 19, while songwriter, singer, oud player and composer Marcel Khalife and clarinet player Ismail Lumanovski will be on the stage on the next day.

While oud player Rabih Abou-Khalil will perform on Feb. 21, Trio Joubran will take the stage on Feb. 22.The event will finish with the performance of Anouar Brahem's quartet on Feb. 23.
