Local jazz musicians hit Istanbul stage in March

Jazz Company's March program will feature an interesting variety of local musicians in performances at Elite World Istanbul Hotel near Taksim.

Jazz Company has a nostalgic evening planned for jazz lovers on March 2 with Sevil Esen performing songs handpicked by the audience from a jukebox at the venue in an event that is sure to awaken the spirit historic jazz.

Women in blues

Traditionally focusing on blues performed by women and the importance of sharing their stories, Woman Blues will perform on March 9. Featuring Göksenin Tuncalı accompanied by Gürkan Özbek on guitar, Ozan Yeşildal on bass and Soner Doğanca on drums, female blues performers will be honored through songs and anecdotes.

Unforgettable tunes remade

Kubilay Kan will give an "Unforgettable" performance on March 16 to honor the giants of jazz and blues, giving the audiences a chance to discover themselves while presenting an inner journey.

Acoustic journey

Akustik Bişeyler, who features English, Spanish and Greek songs in their repertoire along with Turkish, will be on stage March 23. In this special performance featuring acoustic versions of country, folk, pop and jazz cult songs of the '60s, singer Goncagül Alankaya will be accompanied by Barış Göker on piano and Cevdet Alanbay on guitar.

A night with İlham Gencer

Turkish jazz music legend İlham Gencer and young singer İpek Dinç Yüce are set to wow on March 30, promising an entertaining night full of amazing music.
