ANKARA — Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has discussed by phone developments in the Cyprus issue, Ukraine and Syria with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.The conversation on Thursday came three days after Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus President Derviş Eroğlu said that peace talks with "sacrifices on the Turkish side only" would only impede an agreement on the Cyprus issue. Eroğlu spoke after meeting UN General-Secretary Ban Ki-moon in New York to discuss latest developments in UN-sponsored negotiations over the island's future."A resumption of negotiations with the sacrifices of Turkish side only is worrisome and poses difficulty in reaching an agreement," Eroğlu told reporters.Meanwhile, Davutoğlu also held a phone conversation with Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Oman's Minister of Foreign Affairs, about the two country's relations.
