Public being misled about presidential palace, says PM's office

The Turkish prime minister's office said on Thursday that the public is being misled about the newly built presidential palace in Ankara. The office said, "Buildings are allocated to institutions", emphasizing that they are not allocated to individuals themselves. "The real owner of all these facilities is the people," stated the office.

Turkey's finance minister announced on Tuesday that the cost of the newly built presidential palace has exceeded previous estimates.
