President Erdoğan attends graduation ceremony of the Turkish War Academies

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has attended the Turkish War Academies graduation ceremony in Istanbul on Wednesday, in which the officers who completed their academic training received their diplomas. President Erdoğan was welcomed to the ceremony with military honors by the commander of Turkish War Academies' General Abdullah Recep, prior to being received by the Chief of General Staff General Necdet Özel. The graduation ceremony for 184 officers who completed their two-year academic training and received their "staff officer" title, was held at the Turkish War Academies' Atatürk Wargaming and Cultural Center.Parliament Speaker İsmet Yılmaz, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Chief of General Staff Necdet Özel, Interior Minister Sebahattin Öztürk, National Defense Minister Vecdi Gönül, and other commanders-in-chief of armed forces also attended the ceremony. The highest ranked student of the graduating classes, Captain Mustafa Utku Yalnızoğlu, Air Force College Air Intelligence Captain Ceyhan Kesenek, and Naval War College's top ranked student Captain Mustafa Fıstık received their diplomas from President Erdoğan. 91 students, including 20 gendermarie from Army War College, 45 from the Naval War College, including five coast guards, and 48 from the Air Force War College graduated and received their diplomas. There were also 30 guest officers from the allied countries who recieved their diplomas after completing their training.
