3 people, including ex-deputy İşbilen arrested in Ankara in Gülen terror group probe


Among four people referred to the court of peace on duty over the Gülen terrorist organization probe, three, including ex-AK Party deputy İlhan İşbilen were arrested on Monday in Ankara. The other person was released under judicial control.The suspects Kazım Avcı, Ali Çelik, Dilaver Azim, and İlhan İşbilen were detained earlier on Dec. 11 in a major operation across Turkey against the terror group. Following their testimonies at the prosecutor's office, the suspects were referred to the Ankara court of peace on duty, where three of them were arrested.Meanwhile, Abdülkadir Aksoy, reported to be Fetullah Gülen's ex-lawyer, has turned in himself to the police, according to various media reports.The Gülen Movement is accused of establishing or managing a terrorist organization, exposing confidential information belonging to the state for political or military espionage purposes, attempting to overthrow or obstruct the function of the government of the Republic of Turkey, violating the confidentiality of private life, unlawful recording of personal information, forgery of official documents, fabricating crimes, and destroying evidence.
