Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli railed at party dissidents for organizing an emergency convention on June 19 in an attempt to change the party bylaws which keep them from electing a different chairman, saying this will add fuel to the fire of intra-party conflict.Speaking at an iftar event organized by the party in Istanbul, Bahçeli said the party administration will not recognize the June 19 emergency convention and will not attend it."How will this pirate convention be held, if my authorized friends and I will not be present at the rented convention hall on June 19?" Bahçeli asked and said the "real" emergency convention will be held on July 10.
