PM Yıldırım to meet former ministers from the AK Party

Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım will get together with all of the former cabinet members of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in a dinner on Wednesday.

The official Anadolu Agency reported that Yıldırım will meet with the ex-ministers in the Çankaya Prime Ministry Office.

The guests, including former President Abdullah Gül and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, were invited by AK Party Vice Chair Hayati Yazıcı. Invitees also include names like Bülent Arınç or Hüseyin Çelik, who were claimed as the intra-party opposition.

Accordingly, former cabinet members who were expelled from the party (former Foreign Minister Yaşar Yakış) or who resigned (former Education Minister Erkan Mumcu, Culture Minister Ertuğrul Günay, Interior Minister İdris Naim Şahin and Deputy PM Abdüllatif Şener) were not invited.
