Video shows pro-PKK supporters throwing objects at Turkish Americans in Washington


A video which recently surfaced on social media shows PKK terrorist organization supporters throwing objects and hurling insults at a group of Turkish-Americans who had gathered in front of the Turkish embassy in Washington during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit.

The video shows a group of PKK supporters provoking Turkish-Americans and throwing objects, while footage shows a man named Alp Kenan Dereci with series head injuries as a result of the pro-PKK protesters' attack.

Reports said that the U.S. police failed to take action against the pro-PKK group after complaints by Turkish-Americans.

The PKK is designated as a terrorist group by Turkey, the European Union, and the United States, but police in the bloc have come under fire for tolerating the terrorist group's presence and approve pro-PKK rallies.

Turkey also criticizes the U.S. for supporting the PKK's Syrian offshoot Peopletarget="_blank"'>
