Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his French counterpart, Jean-Noel Barrot, discussed a range of pressing regional and international issues in a phone call, including ongoing negotiations over the Strait of Hormuz and the war in the region, diplomatic sources said.

The two ministers also addressed efforts to find a solution to the Russia-Ukraine war, the situation in Palestine and recent developments in Syria, according to sources at the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
