Turkish students to compete in international science contest

Yahya Yağız Kemikoğlu from Kemerburgaz Okyanus College is to represent Turkey at Intel ISEF, one of the most prestigious international science competitions, with his medical bracelet project.

The project was previously competed at Turkey's Scientific and Technological Research Council's (TÜBİTAK) competition last year and came second.

The medical bracelet called "Ucicatrize" is a practical and low-cost medical device that helps doctors to diagnose patients' allergic reactions, enabling them to start medical treatment as quick as possible.

Intel ISEF, which was initiated in 1950, welcomes more than 600 students from 60 countries each year. This year's meeting is scheduled to take place in Pittsburgh between May 13 and 18.
