Turkish teenagers won nine medals in the European School Chess Championship in Krakow, Poland, June 29-July 8.

Turkey's national youth team was awarded two gold, two silver and five bronze medals.

The tournament organized by the European Chess Union hosted 343 players from 25 countries in six different age categories, boys and girls competing separately.
