Turkish wrestler wins world championship silver


Turkish wrestler Elif Jale Yeşilırmak won silver at the World Wrestling Championship in Budapest, Hungary on Tuesday.

Yeşilırmak lost 8-0 to Japan's Risako Kawai in the women's 59-kilogram final.

In May, Yeşilirmak had won a European Championship gold in Kaspiysk, Dagestan.

Prior to that, she had been away from wrestling for almost two years due to injury.
