Eczacıbaşı VitrA women's team wins Turkey cup


Eczacıbaşı VitrA won the 2018 Spor Toto Women's Champions Cup volleyball title Wednesday, after defeating Vakifbank 3-1 in the final in the capital Ankara. In April, Eczacibasi VitrA had won the CEV Women's Champions League title by beating Belarus side Minchanka in Istanbul.

This was the second time that Eczacıbaşı VitrA has won the CEV Cup; the first was in 1999 when the tournament was called the CEV Cup Winners Cup. Overall, this is the fifth cup that Eczacıbaşı VitrA has won in international tournaments.
