Syrian opposition advances against Daesh terrorists in Aleppo

The moderate Syrian opposition retook control of the town of Çobanbey from the Daesh terrorist group in Aleppo province.

The operation, which ended late Thursday, received air support from the anti-Daesh U.S.-led international coalition.According to local sources, opposition forces took down Daesh's flag in Cobanbey, located 60 kilometers from Jarabulus city, but the moderate groups folded the flag, since it had Islamic writing on it.When the PYD terror group-the Syrian wing of the PKK terrorist organization-took control of Tal Abyad in June, it put Daesh's flag on the ground and trampled on it, as was seen in photos published by the media.Meanwhile, Syrian opposition groups near the Turkish border are preparing to advance toward the Euphrates River.According to a tally compiled by Anadolu Agency, more than 361,000 people have been killed in Syria since the conflict erupted in 2011.
