Turkey supports entrepreneurs in 17 different areas


Turkish scientific and technological research council will provide finance for various projects in 17 different areas from technology to food and health. The Turkish scientific and technological research council will provide up to 2.5 million TL to finance projects of entrepreneurs investing in areas such as mobile communication, display technology, food and health and energy, according to Turkish News Agency AA's reporter. The provided finance will increase Turkey's research and development capacity, according to information received by the AA reporter. The projects in the areas of health, energy, food, and communication technologies will be prioritized. The research council will provide up to 500 thousand TL to small-sized projects, up to 1 million TL for middle-sized ones, and up to 2.5 million TL for large-sized ones, provided that these projects fulfill the conditions for procurement of the relevant finance. There will be a two-phased application system for the projects and the dateline for the first phase will be 19 September 2014.
