Turkey plans to build fifth generation wireless communication technology (5G) networks, which will be designed by Turkish engineers. The communication systems will be produced in the Laboratory of 5G and Beyond, which was established at Medipol University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. The project aims to eliminate dependence on foreign sources of 5G and next generation communications technology.
