The Turkish business community showed a remarkable interest in high technology at the Vizyoner'15 Sectors Summit, which was organized between Nov. 18 and Nov. 19 by the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD). Turkcell CEO Kaan Terzioğlu, Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) President Arif Ergin and Health Ministry Deputy Secretary Şuayip Birinci, who were among the attendants of the summit, were asked many questions regarding the conference, which was titled "Technology in the Future."

MÜSİAD members sought more information about the new business models introduced on the program's panel sessions and to organize more meetings regarding these new models. Speaking on a panel, Ergin discussed the technologies TÜBİTAK has been developing and begun producing for commercial purposes. Ergin said the research conducted is waiting for interested business people, and TÜBİTAK is also ready to give the licenses of those technologies for commercial purposes. "Currently, TÜBİTAK has many technologies that are waiting to be realized for commercial production. We have been working on many fields ranging from communication to energy. Among these, we have a new operation system project, which requires the support of companies to establish, operate and provide technical support to the project," he said. Terzioğlu said industrialists need at least one app through which they can find information about work processes or they can coordinate work processes via smartphone. Furthermore, Birinci drew attention to the fact that mobile apps provide doctors and patients with increased ease, saying: "From now on, there will be more work done aiming to prevent people from contracting illnesses."
