British Jet2.com and Jet2 Holidays have announced that they will double the number of summer tours to Turkey next year following an increase in demands and add some 70,000 extra seats.

The program, expected to begin next May, will consist six additional flights to Antalya, Bodrum, and Dalaman every week. The company will be able to go up to 43 weekly flights to Turkey from nine different regions in the U.K. during the peak season.

With the 70,000 additional seats in its flights in 2018, the company's capacity will have increased by 115 percent for Antalya, 144 percent for Bodrum and 56 percent for Dalaman.

Jet2.com and Jet2 Holiday CEO Steve Heapy said: "Turkey has a terrific climate and great holiday towns. We have experienced a substantial increase in reservations since we launched our summer 2018 campaign and we are pleased to increase the number of tours to Turkey."
