With temperatures nearly in the 40’s, both domestic and foreign tourists alike are enjoying horseback riding safaris in Izmir.
The popular tourism town of Selçuk is now introducing domestic and foreign tourists to one of Turkey's cultural legacies; horseback riding.
The option of riding horses along Selçuk's Pamucak shore has become a prime focus of interest for tourists vacationing in the region. Horse breeder Erkan Kanım explains that many times it is first-time riders that get the opportunity to go horse-back riding in the wonder of nature that is Selçuk. Kanım says the tourists that get this opportunity are always very satisfied. Naz Erdal, a fellow visitor in Selçuk explains that she is an expat and in Germany they only have horse-back riding courses. "We do not get the opportunity to comfortably ride horses in the mountains and along the shore. We are extremely pleased by this offer," states Erdal.
