World's oldest man dies at 111 in New York
NEW YORK — Alexander Imich, the world's oldest man, died at the age of 111 on Sunday morning agencies reported. The Polish-born psychic researcher attributed his long and healthy life to abstaining from alcohol and eating healthy food. Imich received the Guinness World Record after Arturo Licata, an Italian who died before the age of 112.According to Gerontology Research, Imich was the oldest living man, but not the oldest person; 66 women are older than Imich. The oldest living person is Misao Okawa, a 116 year old woman from Japan.
