A fire broke out early in the morning on Thursday at a marina in Kadıköy district of Istanbul, damaging 15 boats 6 of which were completely burnt out. The fire took place in Setur Kalamış-Fenerbahçe Marina when a boat suddenly started to burn due to an unknown cause and extended to other boats in the marina.Numerous firefighters came from Kadıköy, Üsküdar and Erenköy along with a coastal safety fireboat responded to the fire and extinguished it. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
