It is anticipated that this will be a landslide victory for Erdoğan. It has become a tradition in Turkish politics that Erdoğan gives a "balcony speech" after election victories. Erdoğan started to give balcony speeches after the general elections in 2007. Henceforth, Erdoğan made consecutive balcony speeches after the 2010 constitutional referendum, the general elections of 2011 and the provincial elections in 2014. Eventually, "balcony speech" became a political term in politics. Erdoğan's balcony speeches are not solely limited to after an election.
