British royal family promotes Turkish black figs

The Bursa Uludağ Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters' Association sent a letter of thanks to the British Royal Family for their promotion of Turkish black figs. Queen Elizabeth the second visited Bursa a few years ago and very much enjoyed the country's black figs and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton reportedly ate black figs during her pregnancy. The black figs of Bursa were put on to international markets and within the first 10 months of 2014 black fig sales reached a total of $42.6 million.
