Erasmus students will be able to get 20 percent discount in their travels and an extra 10 kg of luggage free from the Turkish Airlines (THY), in accordance with a cooperation protocol signed between the company and Turkish National Agency. The protocol was signed on Wednesday at the company's headquarters, with the participation of Turkey's EU Minister and Chief Negotiator, Volkan Bozkır.Bozkır said during the signing ceremony, "THY is an airlines company which we are sincerely proud of and enjoy traveling with."The initial offer of a 15 percent flight discount was raised to 20 percent at the ceremony by Bozkır's request. Bozkır asked the airlines company's Chairman Hamdi Topçu if it was possible to raise the discount a bit, to which Topçu answered: "It's impossible to negotiate with you, Minister. Let's do it 20 percent."Bozkır thanked the chairman on behalf of the youth who will be benefit from the signed protocol.
