The weather temperature is expected to drop in eastern cities of Turkey, causing major snowfall today. According to the statement released by Turkish State Meteorological Service, the temperatures are expected to drop, starting this morning till the late night. The drop in temperatures are expected to cause major rain and snowfall in the eastern and southeastern provinces of Hakkari, Bitlis, Şırnak, and Van. Weather experts warned that, due to heavy snowfall, drivers might experience delays and difficulties on the roads, and advised drivers to be cautious of slippery roads that could traffic accidents.
