An elderly man was injured when a car hit him in eastern Turkey only to be killed when the driver who ran into him crashed again. Ayrullah Çelikten, 80, was slightly injured by a pickup truck backing up in a village in Iğdır province on Friday. The driver offered him a ride to the hospital instead of calling an ambulance. As they were heading to the hospital, the driver lost control of the truck and ran into a cliff. Çelikten was killed while the driver was injured.
