Military aircraft crashes in central Turkey, no injuries
A military aircraft crashed on Thursday during a training flight in the central Turkish province of Konya, no injuries were reported.According to sources, two pilots on board abandoned the aircraft by parachute.A number of ambulances, search and rescue teams have been deployed to the area.On the same day, an ultra-light aircraft also crashed in Konya, leaving three foreigners injured.Portuguese Carlos Jorge, 56, German Ulrich Metternich, 56, and Italian Diego Ruggiero, 40, are in stable condition, hospital staff told the media.It was not immediately clear under what circumstances the ultra-light NG-4 aircraft went down.The three foreigners were in Turkey to participate in the "NATO Tiger Meet 2015" flight drills event held at Konya's third Main Jet Base Command.
