Turkish Airlines to fly to Atlanta after Miami


Turkish Airlines (THY), the country's flag carrier, will offer direct flights between Istanbul and Atlanta in the U.S. as of May 2016.The new destination will be the airline's second to the southeastern United States following THY's decision to open a route to Miami, Florida.According to a statement released by THY, the Istanbul-Atlanta flights will begin on May 16, 2016 and will operate once a day throughout the whole week."We are very pleased to gather more passengers with our flight to Atlanta," said Turkish Airlines Deputy General of Marketing and Sales Ahmet Olmustur.Turkish Airlines offers flights to over 250 international destinations in over 100 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas.
