Turkey sends nearly 2,000 vehicles with humanitarian aid to Kobani


Turkish government have released new figures showing that the country is hosting 194,000 civilians displaced by fighting just across the Syrian border.Turkey has sent a total of 1,933 vehicles with humanitarian aid to people in the northern Syrian town of Kobani since September 19, 2014.Turkey has also sent food, water, clothing, medicine and personal hygiene products to civilians unwilling to leave the town.A temporary accommodation center has been established in the Suruç district of southeastern Şanlıurfa province which can host 35,000 people. The center includes hospitals, schools, vocational courses for adults and supermarkets.
