A 15-year old teen shot himself in the head on Sunday while trying to take a selfie with his father's gun in Istanbul.A.Ç. wanted to send a pose with his father's licensed gun to a friend. As he was posing, he wanted to capture a photo but he pulled the trigger instead.His family ran to the 15-year old's room as they heard the gunshot. Medics that arrived at the scene found out that A.Ç. had lost his life at the scene.A.Ç.'s body was interred in the Akyazı district of northwestern Sakarya province on Monday, with his friends and teachers attending the ceremony.The incident once again proved the extent of dangers of private gun ownership and gun possession in homes.
