3-month-old baby, grandfather killed by PKK terrorists in southeast Turkey


A three-month-old baby and her grandfather were killed after being shot by the PKK terrorists on Saturday in Sur district of Turkey's southeastern Diyarbakır province.The baby girl named Miray was shot by the PKK terrorists while her aunt was holding her at the family home's balcony. The family reportedly called an ambulance for Miray to be taken to hospital, however, the ambulance was unable to reach the building due to mined barricades and ditches set up by the terrorist group.After the ambulance was prevented from entering the street, the baby's aunt, Rukiye, and grandfather, Ramazan İnce, 73, left the building to take injured baby to ambulance. However, the two were injured by the terrorists' fire, while they were trying to reach the ambulance that was only 50 meters away from their residence. The injured family were taken to Cizre State hospital after being carried to the ambulance by the medical staff and the locals. Ramazan İnce and his granddaughter later died at the hospital succumbing to the injuries.
