Woman forgets 5-year-old son on public minibus in Turkey’s southern Antalya province

A woman forgot her five-year-old son on public transportation on Thursday in Turkey's southern Antalya province.

Ayşe Orcam was traveling on a public minibus with her son, Burak Orcam, in Antalya, but forgot to pick up her son when she got off at her stop.

The driver, Ibrahim Sarı, who realized Burcak Orcam was left behind, contacted the local police who traced the boy's mother.

The police contacted the boy's mother, who said she does not remember getting off the minibus.

"I hit my head somewhere when I was getting off. When I regained my consciousness I did not have my son with me. I felt really bad and I called the police immediately," she said.
